Never a dull moment for members of the Margate City Police Department. Emiline the cockatiel went missing from her home on N Delavan Ave. Sargent Scullion and Officer Swift from Margate PD were quick to respond to the initial call. They then responded again, when Emiline was spotted the next day sitting on a porch, on the 500 block of Douglas Ave.

Owner Jennifer Barr Swift says: THANK YOU MCPD! We are so grateful for all the help! Thanks to the MCPD, thanks to the Catties, and thanks to all the people who helped search for her. We are so happy she returned. Emaline is happy to be back, too.

**Beach Access Update** Due to dune equipment on the beach in the area of Washington Avenue, the Washington Avenue bulkhead will be closed from Mon-Friday until further notice.

*Attention* The traffic lights on Atlantic Avenue in Margate have resumed normal functioning starting on Monday May 14. Reminder: the posted speed limit is 25 mph.
