Ventnor City is implementing a new procedure for checking beach badges. Badges will now be checked at the entrances to the beach – at the bottom of the ramp or stairs leading to the beach.
Everyone age 12 and over is required to have a Ventnor/Margate beach badge to enter the beach. When you get to a beach entrance please have your badge out and ready. If you don’t have one you can buy badges from the checkers.
Please Share this information with your friends, neighbors and visitors so there are fewer delays at the beach entrances. Revenue from beach badges supports cleaning the beach, maintaining the boardwalk and paying the lifeguards.
To save time at the beach you may purchase beach badges at Ventnor City Hall, 6201 Atlantic Ave., Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm in the tax office.
Seasonal badges are $15 each.
