Fluke, Sea Bass, Scup Fishing Regulations for 2024 Season

The New Jersey Marine Fisheries Council is seeking public comment on the 2024 NJ recreational summer flounder regulations.

Jersey Coast Anglers clubs voted unanimously to support taking 3 fluke (summer flounder) at a minimum size of 18 inches. This option would provide the longest season.

Summer fluke would potentially start in early spring, and end in late fall. This would also shorten gap between end of fluke season, and start of sea bass season.
