The Margate City Police Department proudly promoted 5 officers during the recent Commission meeting of January 18.
Sergeants Frank Marciante and Chris Taroncher were promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.
The new Lieutenants will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the Margate patrol division.
Each will manage two squads along with various other responsibilities.
Officers Jake Rando, Max Lieberman, and Dustin Widas were promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
The newly promoted sergeants will be assigned to a patrol squad.
They will be responsible for managing the daily calls for service, and other activities of the officers under their command.
