Margate Business Admin Ken Mosca Resigns, Avoids Termination Vote.

Margate Commissioners were looking to fire City Administrator, Ken Mosca.

A resolution to terminate Mosca was on the January 18 Commission agenda. At the last minute it was pulled from being voted on.

Why delay the vote? Maybe Ken Mosca was lawyering up?

We understand that just prior to the commissioners meeting, Mosca resigned his position as Margate’s Business Administrator, thus no need for a resolution to terminate his services.

It’s being reported that Mosca and the Margate Commissioners reached a settlement on his departure from Margate.

Why did Margate want Ken Mosca to resign? He was just one year into his 3 year contract.

Mosca was recently PR manager for Atlantic City Electric. Prior to that, Mosca was Business Admin for Linwood and Ocean Twp.

Indeed, Mosca’s short tenure as Margate’s Business Admin has been a bumpy one.

  1. Just another example of the incompetent decision making by the previous Administration. Rather shocking that this came to be as the new Administration is just version 2 of the previous.
