Seafood Fest Escapes Atlantic City, Heads to Ventnor Ski Beach.

Ventnor Seafood

Looks like Atlantic City chased away it’s annual Seafood Festival. After seven years at Bader Field, promoters have decided to move the fest to Ventnor Ski Beach. The event will now be called the ‘Downbeach Seafood Festival’.

“Atlantic City didn’t hold the date for us this year, and there wasn’t a very friendly vibe overall,” says Jon Henderson, producer of the event.

The event will now be a one-day event instead of two, held from 11a to 6p. on Saturday, Sept. 7.

No more carnival-style food vendors say Henderson. BUT…. many popular parts of the festival remain like the Great Brews of NJ tasting tent and the Chowder Cook-Off.

Ski Beach is at the end of Dorset Ave, along the back bay of Ventnor.

Tickets are $10 per person, kids 12 and under free. For more info: DownbeachSeafoodFest.com
