Vestal founder Alfia Muzio continues her lifelong love affair with food. She lives, cooks and eats with her husband and two children in Ventnor.
Alfia always has a busy booth at Ventnor’s Farmers Market during the summer. Her fresh baked, plant-based pastries always sell out fast.
Born and raised in New York and earned her law degree before she realized that cooking was way more fun.
Even after being admitted to the New York Bar, Alfia ditched her desk for an apron and began her cooking career.
Alfia has written for Bon Appetit and Food and Wine, worked as a caterer, a private chef, and was most recently Executive Chef at a delivery service for new and nursing moms.
The focus is functional ingredients – these treats don’t just taste great, they make you feel great!
