Ventnor Playgrounds – Commissioners awarded a $15,000 contract for design and construction services for the City’s four playgrounds to DeBlasio and Associates.
Pier Bathroom and Offices – The City will go out to bid shortly for construction of a new pier bathroom and offices. The City, together with Green Acre grant dollars, will help fund this Ventnor Fishing pier enhancement.
Library and Community Building – Commissioners awarded a $26,000 contract to Doran Engineering for window replacement, door replacement where necessary, and repair to exterior finish of the Library and Community Building. Matt Doran has an interesting history in regards to his past and current work in the City of Brigantine. We trust that Ventnor will have more fiscally responsible contracts in place with Mr. Doran….than Brigantine.

Drainage Improvements – The City of Ventnor is in the midst of receiving proposals for engineering consulting services for Wellington and Lafayette Avenue drainage improvements.
Ventnor Bike Racks – A grant administered by Atlantic County. Bike racks will be eventually be added to various locations.
Coming soon…Ventnor Police will be wearing body cams. Dashboard cams on vehicles were also discussed.
