In June of 2022, a devastating fire destroyed the iconic sandwich shop, Mr. Gordo’s Mexican, and two apartments above the two eateries.
Sack o’Subs Ventnor will re-open at 5223 Ventnor Ave in Ventnor. The corner of Ventnor and Little Rock Ave. Next door to the old location. Just across from WAWA and AAAA Bike Shop.

Sack o’ Subs will switch spots with it’s tasty neighbor, Mr. Gordos Mexican Taqueria.
Mr. Gordo’s Mexican Taqueria will be right next door….. hopefully opening later this spring.
Sack o’ Subs has been a Ventnor classic since 1969.
The Sacco family is world famous for their amazing subs.
They got their start in 1947 at the White House Sub Shop in Atlantic City.
Anthony Sacco is the grandson of original owner, Fuzzy Sacco.
Anthony is the owner and operator of the Ventnor location.
Sacco purchased the Ventnor location from Fred Spitalnick in 2022.
