On March 5, Atlantic County commissioners voted to appoint Frank Formica to the ACUA, ATLANTIC COUNTY UTILITIES AUTHORITY.
Formica will fill an unexpired term that ends May 1, 2025.

During the March 5 meeting, Commissioner Ernest Coursey defended the financially mismanaged Atlantic City Housing Authority. Coursey wants more funding without appropriate oversight or rationale.
Who is Ernest Coursey?

- Chief of Staff for Atlantic City Mayor, Marty Small.
- Manager of all-cash Bader Field parking concession.
- Married to Leslie White-Coursey of NJ Department of Education.

LaQuetta Small, wife of AC Mayor Marty Small, is the AC School District Superintendent. She recently served as Vice-Chair of the Atlantic City Housing Authority.
AC Mayor Marty Small exerts significant influence over the ‘independent’ Atlantic City Housing Authority.
Former head of CRDA, Matt Doherty, was hired to be Executive Director of the ATLANTIC CITY HOUSING AUTHORITY. Doherty was soon fired after blowing the whistle on alleged, misappropriated, $400k. The former CRDA director uncovered multiple instances of questionable spending and mismanagement. Doherty reported that The Atlantic City Housing Authority paid consultants for work that should have been performed by staff members already on the payroll.
Student Abuse.
Marty & La’Quetta Small’s relative, Kayan Frazier, was a local school teacher that lived with Mr. & Ms. Small. Frazier was convicted of the sexual abuse of young students. School principal at the time, LaQuetta Small, failed to report the incidents to local police and allowed cousin Frazier to continue teaching at multiple AC schools. LaQuetta Small said nothing as cousin Frazier was then hired by NJ State Dept of Child Protective Services.
Atlantic City is going down the toilet! I know Ernie for many yeas and is a true gentleman, but I think he’s over his head now, especially when the investigations start!
