Ventnor Commissioners approved three-year contracts with key department heads within Public Safety and Public Works. All three professionals get the following:
- 14 paid holidays
- 3 personal days
- 3 bereavement days
- Vehicle for work and personal use.
Ventnor Police Chief Joseph Fussner new salary is $158,705 plus 10% longevity pay. Accrued: 70 vacation days.
Fire Chief Michael Cahill base salary is now $173,492. Cahill receives 25 vacation days per year. 50 of those days can be banked for retirement.
Public Works Superintendent Ed Stinson base salary is $172,278, 25 vacation days, 50 days can be banked for retirement.
Those salaries are heavy for the town. Hope alot of those new construction 5 year tax deals come to an end and fund that fat payroll.
