Ventnor Gets $75k Donation For New Beach Stage

Ventnor is one step closer to getting a new stage and bandshell for their summer beach concerts.

The old stage behind the library at Newport Ave, along boardwalk and beach, has seen better days.

Shelley D’Orazio and Ventnor’s Beautification Committee just announced a $75,000 donation towards building the new beachfront stage. Watch video.

The new band shell design is simple, but 3x bigger. The roof / canopy will resemble a butterfly.

A low-maintenance, concrete foundation with decorative use of Ipe wood.

New Ventnor beach stage will easily accommodate larger bands and presentations. Especially during summertime beach concerts. ADA (wheel chair) accessible too.

  1. This woman walks on water as far as I am concerned. Shelly D’Orazio has worked tirelessly for many, many years on projects to make Ventnor a great community to live in. Especially the Chef’s night out and the Christmas parade. Sure she has help (especially her husband Peter) but she is the leader!!! On behalf of all of the residents who have possibly forgotten to thank her, THANK YOU Shelly for all that you do for all of Ventnor. I am very proud to call you my friend.
Wow a $75,00 donation for a new band shell / stage.
