Pickleball might be the fastest growing sport around. Especially in towns like Ventnor. So much so, city officials need to find ways to expand court availability.
What the heck is Pickleball? Well, it’s feels and looks like a much larger version of ping-pong.
Tennis requires more stamina and physical strength. It can get pricey too. Tennis is quite challenging to master.
On the other hand, Pickleball is perfect for almost any skill and strength level. Much cheaper to play and easier to master, too.
Yes, some are ditching tennis (gasp) for pickleball.
Ventnor Guidelines for Pickleball Summer 2021
Pickleball Court Fees:
- Adult Season Pass – $60
- Adult Weekly Pass – $15
- Adult Daily Pass – $7
- Child (under 12) Season Pass – $40
- Child Weekly Pass – $15
- Child Daily Pass – $5
7 Ventnor Pickleball Courts Open Daily 8a til 8p
Ventnor Pickleball Morning Sessions:
- 8a – 9:25a
- 9:30a -10:55a
- 11a -12:30p
Evening Pickleball sessions are FRIDAY ONLY.
- 5p – 6:25p
- 6:30p – 8p
There are 2 temporary courts, using the basketball courts. Open from 8a to 9:30a daily. Pickleball nets can be accessed from the on-site office. Nets must be set up and taken down each day by the players.
Courts open for all play with player rotation from 12:30p til 8p (except FRI 5p – 8p).
Ventnor Pickleball Court Reservations
Reservations can be made for only one morning/Friday evening session per day. * Reservations for morning sessions or Friday evening sessions will be given on a first come/call reserve basis.
Reservations can be made in person at the office with payment.(non season pass holders) up to 3 days in advance.

• Players must provide season pass number.
All rules subject to change as Ventnor works out the kinks.
